About Educating At Home
Welcome, Friend!
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re doing enough, questioned your homeschool choices, or just needed someone to remind you to breathe—you’re in the right place. Homeschooling is a marathon, not a sprint, and you don’t have to do it alone.

My Story
After more than 20 years in education, I’ve seen a wide variety of students and schools—but what really captured my heart was walking alongside moms in their homeschooling journey. Over the years, I realized that moms don’t just need curriculum or lesson ideas—they need encouragement, clarity, and a safe place to wrestle with questions.

When I meet with moms, our conversations often start with their worries: Am I doing enough? Did I choose the right program? How do I balance school with the rest of life? Together, we sort through those questions and find practical solutions that bring peace and direction. It’s one of my favorite parts of this work—seeing a mom walk away lighter, with a clear plan and renewed confidence.
After graduating my second (and final!) daughter from homeschooling, I knew I didn’t want to stop pouring into this community. So now, instead of teaching my own kids, I’m investing my time in helping moms like you find your footing, gain confidence, and enjoy the homeschool life you’ve been called to live.
The Mission of Educating At Home
Sanity and Success
I started Educating At Home to encourage and equip moms in the middle of the homeschooling marathon. I know the ups and downs, the doubts, and the joy of seeing it all pay off. My mission is to help you uniquely design YOUR homeschool life so that it reflects your family’s needs—not someone else’s mold.
What I Offer
Here you'll find:

I bring the perspective of both a classroom teacher and a homeschool mom. I’ve taught students in nearly every setting—public, private, charter, co-op, and home—and I’ve also served as a homeschool campus director and conference speaker. That mix of experience means I understand the challenges from multiple angles and know how to make learning approachable, flexible, and doable.

I’ve been where you are. I’ve walked in similar shoes. I know the overwhelm of juggling lessons, laundry, and life. Because of that, I emphasize productivity, order, and results through change—not just theory. My goal is to help you create systems that actually work for your family so you can move forward with confidence instead of second-guessing.
But more than that, I’m here to remind you that homeschooling isn’t about perfection. It’s about faithfulness, creativity, and building something that fits your family.
