Hi, I'm Arika.
I'm a credentialed teacher with more than 25 years of teaching experience and spent 15 years homeschooling my own children. I've worked with hundreds of students over the years, and one of my favorite parts of teaching is helping a child finally understand something that once felt difficult.
My approach to tutoring is simple: find the missing skills, meet the student where they are, and build from there. I want students to become stronger readers and writers—but I also want them to enjoy learning and leave our sessions feeling capable and successful.​
